remember friends and fam that you are more than just your job. you are more than a position, more than a pay rate, more than a number to a company or corporation or a government. you are more than the debt you owe and the work you must find to pay it off. through life’s trials and tribulations, the one you cannot survive is the passing of time. too easy has it been made to give away all your time, from being indoctrinated on the idea that the life you’ve been given is about chasing the dollar—and not only in the context of survival but also of success.
we are too far evolved beyond basic survival. so far that it’s even been left up to us as individuals to define what it means to find success. by this point you have grown enough to know the things you really truly value, and beyond that should you give no fucks. do not forget your time belongs to you. do not be okay with working your life away on someone else’s conditions. if you feel you need to pause and take a goddamn break, to stop for a minute so you can realign and see the bigger picture, it is your every right to do so. in the end, you are only answering to you.
it is not your job to have it all figured out. the job you have in life is to inquire about the right things, acquire the right things, and to find the balance between all things. you have more freedom than you realise. are you not worth taking the time to invest in yourself, educate yourself, and place yourself in a position where the world works just right for you?
