Ray Higdon, best-selling author and social media expert, joins us on this episode of the Making Bank podcast! Today, he discusses his tumultuous journey towards successful entrepreneurship and what he’s learned along the way.
After quitting his high paying executive position, Ray entered real estate, which he pursued for a few years. He was doing well until the crash in ’08, in which he lost everything: his money, his marriage, and his sense of self-worth. In despair, he attended a networking conference with a friend that would change his life. He began the work on himself, learning his most valuable lesson: that your business problems are personal problems.
Since then, he worked to become the #1 income earner in a network marketing company. Back then, he noticed the power of social media and began using that to help companies. Since 2016, he and his wife have been helping small businesses more leads and sales through social media. In the past three years, they have helped companies generate over 300,000 new customers. Ray speaks to thousands of people each year, sharing his story and inspiring those to make a change within themselves that will ultimately help their business.
