What 'defines' a human. Is a human how many women or men they slept with? Is it how hard they can take a punch, or how hard they can throw one? Is it how much weight they can lift in one sitting, or how many muscles are on their body? Does a human need to experience heartbreak and sacrifice, to be smothered in scars, until they break? What does one need to do to fully become the embodiment of a 'human,'? Is it the resilience, the motivation and courage, that defines who or what a human is? A human is more than 'male' or 'female', a human pushes past gender and boundaries. But is THAT what defines one? Is it the ability to push past boundaries and limits, whether they be physical or mental, to reach a goal at the end of the line? The answer? None of the above. Nor will anyone know.
A so-called 'human,' is not one person or a select group of people. A human is the experiences one deals with throughout life, not necessarily sacrifice or resilience. One does not need to sacrifice one thing or another to achieve true happiness, nor do they need to push past boundaries. A 'human,' needs to only exist; not as a bystander OR player. You may be smothered with scars and be called a human, but those scars do not define who you are.
A human is the personality of oneself, the choices you make regardless of how small. A human cares about himself, herself, and others around him OR her.
Some make stupid decisions, and those do not define oneself. It is how you LEARN from those mistakes, the information collected from the experience. How many red flags do you see in a person before you need to say 'goodbye.'? How much are you willing to put up with before you finally say 'fuck it.'? Instead of getting to that point, watch. Be observant, pay ATTENTION. The slightest mistake you make, you MUST take that in and prepare for it again in the future. Do not be afraid to make mistakes, nor go out of your way to continue making them. Mistakes come naturally; in order to understand the mistake, you MUST take it in. Do not hide or cower in fear; embrace it. Embrace those around you, those who care and are willing to stay regardless of your mistakes. Never let them down.
Whether or not you payed any attention does not matter to me. That is the choice I personally made. That might be a mistake, but only time will tell. After all, I am human.
