Today wasn't a great day.
I got almost 9 hours screen time, 3 more than yesterday. The problem was not Netflix. Netflix stayed below 4 hours. I downloaded YouTube because I wanted to watch this really good history video but then I got a bit carried away and got distracted. I also used Reddit for about 2 hours. I'm really ashamed of this because today went against the whole purpose of this challenge.
So I decided to delete Reddit and YouTube. Tomorrow I'm only going to watch Netflix when I wake up or when I go to sleep, none between. My goal tomorrow is 4 hour screen time.
I took the practice exam for AP Computer Science and I got 23/40, which is an acceptable score considering this was my first time trying, but it's a bit embarrassing because ironically I got an award for a coding contest last week.. I think the problem was I rushed too much. We are given 1 hour 30 min but I only used 1 hour.
I didn't do push ups. I don't know why I keep forgetting to do them. I'm going to write down and remind myself tomorrow.
I made an alright progress with math, but I think I could've done more.
Also, I'm gonna be honest, I watched a bit of Silicon Valley while I was doing math so I think that was why I didn't make too much progress. Do I regret it? Not really. It was so fun. But I think I can limit myself more in the future.
Tomorrow's goals
- Actually do 50 push ups. I will do this first thing in the morning after I shower
- Finish entire trigonometry unit. I learned it before but I forgot a lot of it (advanced stuff, not algebra 2 stuff). Then I'm going to practice a lot of trig stuff before I move on because trig is really important.
- Go over AP CSA test and see why I got so many wrong.
- Review chemistry for test on next Monday (it's spring break right now which might explain the screen time)
