A couple of months ago, my cousin asked me to write a letter for her teenage daughter containing advice or a story that I thought might help her with being a teenage girl in today's society. One day after I eventually found the motivation to begin writing the letter, it occurred to me that the letter may be more impactful sort of as an infographic. Proud of my creation, I showed it to my boyfriend. He was so impressed by it, stating he thought it could help inspire not just my cousin's daughter, but other teenage girls as well feeling the pressures of today's society as to how to be a 'proper' teenage girl and suggested that I post it onto Reddit so others may benefit from it. So here you go Reddit. I wanted it to have the same personal feeling from before, so instead of changing the format completely, I simply censored personal names and added in slightly different addresses. I hope these images find even one person who is able to benefit from the messages of love and support that they contain. [link] [comments] |
