Buckle down because I have a feeling this will be a long one.
My name is Jack, I'm 24 years old and I've spun my wheels long enough. "Today is the day I change my life" is something I've said to myself countless times; Always wanting to change and planning to change but not actually changing.
So the good news is, I'm not a total idiot. I know I can succeed in whatever I put my mind to(realistically). My true problem is perseverance and not being comfortable with change. Giving up to me has always come easily, I have my suspiciouns as to why that may be but at this point, that doesn't matter at all. I'm 24... It's up to me to adapt and create a life for myself.
WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE? - Diet: Balance is key IMO, not some extreme fad diet. WHOLE FOODS ONLY.
-
Exercise: I was into bodybuilding for about 6 years. After chasing my own vanity for that 6 years I decided that what I was doing wasn't healthy. I went as far as taking steroids 1.5 years into starting. My new fitness based passion is MMA so I will be focusing more on body functionality.

Prioritization: Although I have big plans that truly mean a lot to conscious Jack, for some reason those plans and ideas mean diddly squat to my subconscious. With my unsure subconscious I feel that is feeding into my habit of giving up and fear of failure. I also know my subconscious isn't going to magically change and this is where I need perseverance. Work through the struggle no matter what. No giving up. No excuses. After time I assume my subconscious will be forced to be more accommodating to the new life style. Before today and even this morning before work(currently at work) my priorities have been youtube, TV shows and video games; Easily 50+ hours a week of this junk. As I'm writing this, I've decided that in order for me to get my life together I NEED to put all these activities as the lowest possible priority.
SO WHAT'S THE PLAN? The first rule of the plan will be to stick to the damn plan! I'm not going to go into super detail here but I will give you an idea of what I want to do.

Game Development:
I've stopped and started a few games, never finished one. I'm currently working on a game called "Fly Sh*t Shooter" and have decided this will be the game I finish first. The scope is small enough and the game concept is fun IMO.

Life Log:
I've been half ass working on a blog where I will be tracking my life. The goal is to have a one stop shop for me to log EVERYTHING with the hope of showing others what can happen when you apply yourself 100%. Today is day one of 100% Jack. No more half assing.
- Fitness & Health:
Train like a fighter. For now I will have to stick to calisthenics and home workouts due to me having no transportation other than my legs. Once I get transportation of some sort, I will begin going to an MMA gym along with hitting the weights 3 times a week. Speed, Strength, Stamina and Flexibility is the goal.
These will be my focuses. Instead of TV or video games, I will be working on one of the above seeing where this new lifestyle can take me. Eventually I assume my brain will find fun within this new lifestyle.
Honestly, this post is mostly to light a fire under my own ass. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this post and wish you all luck with your endeavors.
TLDR: Been a slacker for too long and now I say goodbye to slacker Jack.
