There's this scene from Schitts Creek where Alexis is trying her best to be supportive of David, she says, “David, who cares?” And he replies with “People! people care!” And she keeps saying “Nobody cares, David!” That moment where David finally realizes that nobody cares what anyone else is really doing deep down because they are focused on their own self was a great scene that really resonated with me. I tell that to myself all the time when I get insecure - everyone’s concerned with their own day, they really aren’t paying as much attention to you as you think.
