If you believe us trying to pick you up and get you going is some sort of scam. A misleading figure of speech. You're reading too literally, you are missing the point of the message.

Over and over I see someone saying something pessimistic about motivational people and giving them backlash for simply sharing other's success.

Yes. You can do everything right. You can be rich. You can have the right connection. You can be genetically more likely to succeed in certain skillsets. You can put your all in for 50 years.

Yet, after that all. You can still fail. Failure is part of life, it is inevitable. Humans are flawed.

However, remember this.

You can do everything right, but you might still fail. But if you don't try you'll never succeed.

Luck = when preparation meets opportunity. Yes, as of 2020... that preparation may be hard.

Yes, as of 2020... that may be vigorous. And yes, as of 2020... your odds of failing are higher than of you succeeding. But when you don't try or prepare for your goals, your odds of failing are "almost" 100%.

I'm a business owner with 25 employees. My dad came to the US by himself for protection from the circumstances in India. He lived here 10 years alone, without his family. With strangers who are now friends and a few distant relatives in a small studio with '0' bedrooms. (maybe it was 1) Sleeping on the floor. (the exact details, as I was not born yet, may not be completely accurate; but the point remains the same)

After 10 years my siblings and my mom were able to come as my dad got his greencard and citizenship through naturalization. Me being born in 1999 of that year. Getting a 1 bedroom appt. in nyc for the 5 of us. My dad, my mom, 2 siblings and me. 10 or 13 years later moving to a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 of us. (my brother got married).

In 2017-18 my mom commit suicide. She used to be my goal for life. I never wanted to get married or have a girlfriend. I wanted wealth to take care of her. Now fast forward I am the CEO & Owner of Zhoustify with 25 employees on payroll and more on commission. We give back using a slide based pricing model and I push for education reform and giving back to those in need like small businesses.

Getting back on track. Instead of freaking out about these constraints, embrace them. Let them guide you. Constraints drive innovation and force focus. Tough times never last, but tough people do. Don’t worry about being successful but work toward being significant and the success will naturally follow. Take pleasure in the process of providing a valuable product or service or helping someone fulfil theirs.

An uber driver taking a doctor to his patient.
A police officer protecting civilians.
An activist bringing reform.
A babysitter cherishing a child's future.
A therapist or teacher building future's for all ages.

Life is hard. However, it does not need to be stressful. Life is hard, but it does not need to be a negative. Life is hard. However, we can learn to enjoy the process that everyone goes through.

For we are the future. Our success shapes our power in the world. Shaping our influence on others.

Shaping what others do. What others need to do. What success requires.

--
Life is hard. Let's work hard and enjoy the process to making it easier for others. Let's walk the path so others can run. Let's win the war so there are no more battles.

Life is hard. So let's diminish the formula of luck = when preparation meets opportunity.

Life is hard. So let's take control and put power back in the people.

Life is hard. So let's love one another and cherish each other.

--
Most importantly. Life is not hard. It's actually just what we perceive it to be. We all have our own version of the world. Our past makes our present and who we are, but today will shape who we are tomorrow. Take power in who you are and what you can do.

Your goal does not need to be revolutionizing. It can be caring for your child, feeding your family, being able to travel, wanting enough money to buy a mansion or car. Whatever that goal is. Whatever is true to you. I hope you will find it (even if you don't know it now; enjoy the process of finding out because once you know... there's no unlearning it). -with exception to memory problems and accidents causing memory loss etc... - but I think you get the point.

Find what you love, follow it. If you have trouble that's okay, find ways to make the process more enjoyable. It does not need to be stressful or hard.

I believe in you. You should too!
