Hi!
Before I get into this, I am FULLY aware that my problems are nothing in comparison to what others are going thru (physical health, divorce, death of a loved one, war, etc).
It has been my dream to own my own business. Six years ago I did just that and the first five years it worked - sure there were ups and downs but overall it worked. In fact, last year was AMAZING!
Then it just crashed and burned. The past nine months have all been down besides September and that’s only because the prior September we had a hurricane.
I am slowly accepting the fact that it’s not working. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve gone thru since it’s my “baby” (once again please see the aforementioned disclaimer). I’m getting so tired of crying all the time and being physically exhausted from the stress. In fact I am praying just to make the rent next month. My business is scraping by by its teeth .
I promise I’m not looking for sympathy or anyone to feel bad for me. What I’m looking for is hope. Has anyone had a failure but then rose from the ashes to achieve something even better? I’ve heard all the cliche’ examples but I would love to hear some real, personal business stories just to keep me motivated and remind me that maybe this is a blessing.
